This lace flower is perfect to a wedding where pink is one of the colors. It will compliment a knitted bridal shawl or be a beautiful hair flower for bridesmaids/flower girls to unify the wedding look. The flower is inspired by the lace edges of Haapsalu shawls and traditional Haapsalu shawl patterns and techniques were used.

I love playing with colors. Single color flowers are also beautiful but I think that using different colours for edges brings out the main color. Before knitting this flower I noticed that I have only used darker edges for my flowers and decided to try a lighter edge. And here it is – pink flower with light pink edge.
